Former multiple world champion Tyson Fury is making a comeback in the boxing ring - again. The Briton announced this on Instagram just a year after his last “retirement”.

Fury has not boxed since losing to Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk in December 2024.

"I've been away for a while, but now I'm back, 37 years old and still punching. There's nothing better than punching men in the face and getting paid for it," Fury writes, according to several media outlets.

Also in 2022, Fury announced that he would retire, but he was back in the ring the following year.

There has been speculation for some time about a big fight with compatriot Anthony Joshua, but at present it is uncertain whether such a fight can take place. Joshua was recently involved in a car crash in Nigeria. Two people, both trainers and friends of the boxing star, died when the car they were travelling in crashed into a stationary truck.
