Tyra Banks, who hosted the long-running show, appears in the documentary "Reality Check: Inside America's Next Top Model," which will be broadcast in three parts and explores the backstory of the early years of reality TV.
According to Banks, her interviews were taken out of context and edited together in a misleading way, NBC News reports. For example, Banks claims the documentary makes it appear that she deliberately allowed a participant to be sexually assaulted during filming when she was actually responding to something else.
“ANTM” premiered in 2003 and aired for 24 seasons until 2016.
