Swedish Industry Sets 6.4 Percent Wage Increase in New Agreement

An agreement is clear on a two-year industrial agreement that will be guiding for the entire labour market. The level is at 6.4 per cent.

"After negotiations based on a very difficult starting position, employers and trade unions in the industry have agreed on wage increases of 6.4 percent in a 24-month agreement that expires on March 31, 2027. Thus, the parties in the industry have set the standard for wage cost increases on the Swedish labor market", writes Teknikföretagen in a press release.
