Two-digit score for Swedish NBA rookie: "A new level"

It's taking off for Pelle Larsson in the NBA. Against Sacramento, the Swedish rookie scored in double figures for the first time during his debut season in Miami. I'm starting to get into it, says the 23-year-old after scoring 13 points.

It was a narrow defeat for Miami Heat, 110–111, after visiting Sacramento decided the match with the last shot.

However, the evening marked a milestone for Pelle Larsson. In his third NBA match of his career, the Swedish rookie made his best performance so far, scoring 13 points. Larsson also took two rebounds and made two assists during his 25 minutes on the court.

In his two previous matches, Larsson had scored two and seven points, respectively.

This is a new level, but I'm starting to get into it. I want to work hard in both ends of the court, says Pelle Larsson after the match against Sacramento, according to Aftonbladet.

Larsson is the third Swede to play in the NBA after Jonas Jerebko and Jeffery Taylor.

Another Swede, Bobi Klintman, was selected in this summer's draft, but an injury has meant that he has not yet been able to make his debut for his Detroit Pistons.
