"Both young people have been charged with murder and aggravated weapons offenses and are suspected of having committed the murder together," prosecutor Lukas Tigerstrand said in a press release.
At the time of the shooting at the sports facility in Älvsjö on Friday evening, floorball and football matches were being played nearby, with many people present. On Saturday evening, it was announced that the woman had died from her injuries.
According to the prosecutor, the suspects were arrested in Flemingsberg, south of Stockholm, at 4:30 a.m. on Saturday. Both deny any wrongdoing.
They are not residents of Stockholm. As far as we have been able to tell so far, they do not appear to know the plaintiff, prosecutor Lukas Tigerstrand told TT this weekend.
