At 3:30 p.m., police were called to the Södervärn district of Malmö after a traffic accident. According to Sydsvenskan, a girl was hit while crossing at a pedestrian crossing.
The police confirm on their website that a 15-year-old girl died in hospital and that the driver of the car, a man in his 40s, has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated manslaughter and gross negligence in traffic.
