Rasmus Andersson and Mikael Backlund each scored a goal against Nashville. But the joy was short-lived when the visiting team scored in the final seconds.

Calgary had won three straight games before tonight's NHL game. At home against Nashville, there were good opportunities for an extended streak - before it was broken by Nashville's Nicolas Hague, who decided the game 4–3 at 19:31 of the third period.

Despite the loss, Calgary's Swedes, Rasmus Andersson and Mikael Backlund, had a good game with one point each. Andersson tied it 2–2 with a well-placed wrist shot in the first period. Backlund tied it 3–3 later in the game.

Mikael Backlund also had a goal disallowed at the beginning of the game, when after review he was deemed to have been offside.
