A 59-year-old man has been previously detained. Now the Copenhagen police on X announce that a 28-year-old man has also been arrested. According to the police, they have collected the equivalent of more than eight million Swedish kronor for the terrorist organization Hamas.
An extensive investigation has been conducted by the Danish Security Police (Pet). According to Pet, both are suspected of having collected and transferred, or attempted to transfer, money to Hamas via a network of associations and organizations in Denmark and abroad.
The older of the two suspects has been in custody since December 2023. He was arrested in connection with a coordinated operation carried out on suspicion of preparing a terrorist act.
