Two spectators killed during ATP finals

Two spectators have been confirmed dead after suffering cardiac arrest during Monday's ATP Finals match in Turin.

The spectators were both men and aged 70 and 78 respectively. The first reports of their deaths came on Monday evening, with confirmation coming the following day.

"The FITP (Italian Tennis Federation) and the ATP deeply regret the tragic passing of two tennis players yesterday," they both wrote in a joint statement according to the BBC .

The ATP playoffs began last Sunday and continue until this Sunday, November 16th.
