Two men aged 18 are sentenced to long prison sentences for hiding a weapon in Lekeryd outside Jönköping this summer.
Jönköping District Court sentenced the duo to four years and eight months in prison for aggravated weapons offenses. Local media have previously reported that the weapons discovery, which was made in July, involved a gun hidden in a container.
"The evidence clearly points to the defendants' guilt, the circumstances are aggravating, among other things because the district court considers that it has been proven that it was part of a larger criminal scheme," says Johanna Syrén, councilor at Jönköping District Court, in a press release.
