This is what Maria Hall, press spokesperson for Police Region Mitt, writes in an email to TT.

The couple is now in the custody of the Swedish Migration Agency. According to the couple's lawyer, Silas Aliki, they deny having committed any crime.

They have not been here to commit crimes, they are outdoor enthusiasts who have been on holiday, Silas Aliki tells TT.

SVT Gävleborg has previously reported that security guards became suspicious of the couple, who had pitched their tent near a property owned by someone close to Saab CEO Micael Johansson.

The couple has a residence permit in Spain.
