The helicopter, which belonged to the Saudi-led coalition, crashed in southern Saudi Arabia near the border with Yemen. The coalition consists of a group of countries led by Saudi Arabia that are fighting the Iran-backed Yemeni Houthi movement.
"It crashed and was destroyed in Saudi Arabia’s Najran region as a result of a technical failure," coalition spokesman Turki al-Malki told the state-run Saudi Press Agency.
