A man and a woman were found dead in a residence in Eskilstuna on Friday.
The police are investigating the deaths as murder since the circumstances are unclear.
A preliminary investigation has been initiated to investigate whether a crime has been committed, says police spokesperson Olle Älveroth to TT.
He says that the two, a man in his 70s and a woman in her 65s, were acquainted with each other.
The police received the alarm about the deaths at 4 pm on Friday, reports Eskilstuna-Kuriren. The residence was cordoned off and the police technicians have examined the site.
No suspect has been arrested.
