Songwriter Anders Wrethov tells the newspaper that he used the AI platform Suno as a production tool for "Rakt in i elden" with Brandsta City Släckers and Meira Omar's "Dooset Daram". However, both the melody and lyrics were written by humans.

"You can tinker with the music on Suno as much as you want. In fact, I've put a lot more time and creative energy into these two songs than I usually put into songs I produce in a more 'regular' environment," Wrethov says.

Suno has been criticized for training its systems on music without compensating the authors.

Melodifestivalen's project manager has previously told TT that AI contributions are not prohibited.
