Two more Russian athletes have been cleared to compete at the Olympics in Italy next month. Short track speed skaters Alena Krylova (500 meters) and Ivan Posashkov (1,000 meters) are the latest to be given the go-ahead by the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

A total of five Russians and one Belarusian have been cleared by the IOC so far.

Figure skaters Adeliya Petrosian and Pyotr Gumennik were previously selected, as was ski mountaineer Nikita Filippov. Viktoriya Safonova, also a figure skater, is the only Belarusian athlete to be selected so far.

However, all of them are only allowed to compete as neutral athletes, without their nation's colors, national anthem or flag.
