The minor who was arrested on Saturday has also had his detention extended, French media report.
The first arrest was made at the Bank of America headquarters in Paris, near the Champs-Élysées, on Saturday night. Authorities said the suspect was in the process of detonating a homemade bomb. According to the newspaper Le Parisien, he told police that he had received the bomb order via Snapchat in exchange for a payment of 600 euros.
French Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez has linked the averted act to the war in the Middle East.
