Two more men have been arrested for involvement in the murder outside a mosque in Örebro this summer, reports Ekot on Sveriges Radio.

Prosecutor Mats Ihlbom tells the radio that the men have been arrested for aiding and abetting murder and that they are suspected on probable cause, the higher level of suspicion.

Both men deny any wrongdoing.

It was in mid-August that a 25-year-old man was shot dead outside a mosque in the Vivalla district. The murder has been linked to a gang conflict in Örebro. Ekot has previously reported that the police had offered the man who was shot dead help just days before the incident, but he refused.

Several people have been arrested on suspicion of involvement in the murder.
