It was last winter that four elderly women in Huskvarna were attacked by the two men in their homes at night.
The men, who are in their 20s, are now sentenced to nine years in prison each for three counts of aggravated robbery, one count of attempted burglary and one count of aggravated sexual assault.
According to the indictment, they found their victims, who were between 84 and 98 years old, through online searches.
"The acts were planned," says Jan Josefsson, chief councilor at Jönköping District Court, in a press release.
"The last act, which took place on January 10 and 11, 2026, was also very brutal and protracted. It lasted for almost four hours. The perpetrators have ruthlessly exploited the women's defenseless and vulnerable position and shown extraordinary cruelty."
