"The arrest of the 30-year-old instigator is important and he has had a clear impact on the situation in Stockholm," says Christer Chernström, investigation leader in the Stockholm South police district, in a police press release.
The man in his 30s is suspected of, among other things, inciting serious weapons offences on two occasions in the Stockholm area and involving a minor in crime. The man in his 20s was convicted of a serious weapons offence in district court in May 2025. Both belong to criminal groups, according to police.
The men were arrested in early July and are two of 165 people arrested abroad this year following Swedish wanted notices.
