Moscow said on Saturday that several people had been killed after around 300 Ukrainian drones were fired at Russia. Drones reportedly reached as far as Yekaterinburg in the Ural Mountains.
At least twelve people were killed in a Ukrainian attack in a "tourist area" in a part of Ukraine occupied by Russia, according to pro-Moscow authorities.
In the Ukrainian city of Slovyansk, at least three people were killed in a Russian attack, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote on X.
An attack on the city of Sumy in northern Ukraine killed three more people. The drone in question was "a Shahed variant," Zelenskyy wrote, referring to the Iranian model that Russia now manufactures under license.
"As a result of an attack by a jet-powered drone on a post office, two people were killed, one of whom was a 49-year-old man. The identity of the second man is being established," Serhiy Kryvosheyenko, head of the Sumy military administration, wrote on Telegram.
At least one person has also been injured in an attack on the city of Zaporizhia, according to the local military administration.
