A fire broke out on Saturday morning in an apartment in a multi-family house on Södermalm in central Stockholm.
According to the Stockholm Fire Department, the fire is said to have started in the kitchen.
The police press spokesperson Anna Westberg states that two people were injured in the fire, one of whom was taken to hospital by ambulance. There is no information on how seriously the people are injured.
Just under half an hour after the alarm came in, the fire department announced that the fire was extinguished and that they had moved on to checking that it had not spread in the building's structure.
