The men had not returned home as planned on Monday.
We received an alarm on Monday evening that they were missing, and we sent out a helicopter and mountain rescuers, says Kristina Lantto, press spokesperson at the police.
Just before midnight, the two deceased were found in a tent.
The deceased are two men in their 60s, and according to the police, they are experienced mountain hikers.
There is no suspicion of crime behind the deaths.
