The rescue service was alerted on Sunday afternoon to Saxtorpssjön in Kävlinge about a drowning accident.
We received a call about two people in distress, an adult and a child. Before our arrival, the child was out of the water and was awake and able to speak, says Gustaf Sandell at the rescue service.
The adult, a man in his 35s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries. In the evening, the police announce that the man has died.
