A suspected perpetrator has been arrested after a brawl in Segevång, Malmö, involving three people. Two men were injured and taken to hospital, one of them is considered seriously injured.
One person has been arrested, said Magnus Lefèvre, officer on duty, to TT an hour after midnight.
The man, who is in the same age range as the two injured men, 20-30 years old, was arrested on the spot and the suspicions against him concern attempted murder.
Initially, the two injured were assessed as having critical injuries. This was later changed during the night to one having serious injuries and the other less serious.
The brawl is said to have started indoors but continued outdoors. The two injured were found outdoors and were taken to hospital by ambulance after receiving emergency care on the scene.
According to Magnus Lefèvre, it is unclear what relationship the men have to each other.
Some kind of weapon is believed to have been used in connection with the brawl.
