"We have already started investigations into why it happened and we take this seriously," Ida Fredriksson, head of communications at K4, told the newspaper.
The frostbite occurred during an exercise last weekend. The two conscripts had frostbite on one or more toes. The regimental doctor assessed the injuries as serious.
Ida Fredriksson says that the conscripts are now on leave and will need to recover before they can participate in regular activities.
