Two boys, younger than 15 years old, are suspected of involvement in Sunday's bombing in Borås, the police announced.

The two people, who were brought in for questioning on Wednesday, are suspected of serious public destruction and a violation of the Act on Flammable and Explosive Goods. According to Borås Tidning , they are two boys.

They are between ten and 15 years old, just under fifteen. Both are residents of Borås, says Stina Frenning, group leader at the police unit for serious crimes in Borås, to BT.

Because the boys are under 15 years old, they are not of criminal age, so social services have been involved instead.

At around 11:30 p.m. on Sunday evening, the police were alerted to an explosion in the Trandared area of Borås. At the scene, it was determined that something had exploded near a parked car and the national bomb disposal unit was called to the scene.
