In the shooting on October 24, an 18-year-old man died after a car was shot multiple times. Three people were in the car and, in addition to the driver, who was shot dead, another person was injured.

The man and woman are charged with murder, attempted murder and aggravated weapons offences. They have been in custody since the end of October, and the evidence includes encrypted chats.

"My view is that the chat material shows that the woman and the man who are now being charged together took on the murder mission and carried it out," says senior prosecutor Robert Damberg in a press release.

The woman was sentenced last spring to three years in prison for a serious drug offence involving the sale of one kilogram of amphetamine. According to LT, when the shooting took place, she was at large, awaiting the start of her sentence.

Another person, who according to several media outlets has connections to the Foxtrot criminal network, is being held in absentia for instigating the crime. However, this person is not included in the indictment, the prosecutor writes.
