Two people were found dead in Kopervik, north of Stavanger, on Saturday. The two were found in different homes, and the deaths are being investigated as murders.
A major police operation has been ongoing throughout Saturday, and during the evening the police announced that two men in their 30s had been arrested on suspicion of murder.
"The information we have received indicates that there was some form of relationship or acquaintance between the two suspects and the two who died," police attorney Fredrik Martin Soma told NRK.
The two victims were both found in nursing homes. The police are otherwise silent about the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
