The Swede had been living in Spain for several years. His girlfriend testified that they were walking in Torrevieja on October 3rd when they were asked for directions by people in a car that stopped. When the man took out his mobile phone, one of the people in the car tried to take it from him.
His arm was held and he was dragged by the car, resulting in serious injuries. He died a few days later.
