The soldiers were killed as they and allied forces defended themselves against Iranian ballistic missiles, the US military command Centcom said on X.
These are the first confirmed American deaths since attacks on Iran resumed in early July.
Four additional soldiers were evacuated to Jordanian hospitals but have been discharged. Some other personnel who have been medically assessed have returned to duty, according to Centcom.
Since the war against Iran first began in late February, 16 American soldiers have been killed and more than 430 injured.
