Two 15-year-old boys injured after collision with police bus in Nybro

The accident occurred in Nybro just before 5 p.m. on Sunday.

The boys, who were riding an electric scooter, were being checked by police when they collided with the police bus.

While the boys were being checked, a collision occurred, but we don't know yet who hit whom, says police spokesperson Filip Annas.

The boys were initially taken to hospital with serious injuries. During the evening, Region Kalmar announced that the boys are no longer seriously injured but are in a care unit with minor injuries.

The case will now be investigated by the special investigations unit, since the accident occurred during a police intervention, says Filip Annas.
