Tunisian authorities have found twelve people who died after a boat carrying migrants sank off the country's coast over the weekend.
A total of 15 people were reportedly on board at the time of the accident, of whom only one was rescued. The search is still ongoing for two more people.
Since 2023, the EU and Tunisia have had a major agreement aimed at reducing irregular migration and human smuggling in the Mediterranean.
