Twelve Charged After Police Uncover Drug Factory in Helsingborg

Twelve people are prosecuted for narcotics offenses after the police uncovered a drug factory, reports SVT Helsingborg.

It was in December 2024 that the police struck against a premises in Gantofta outside Helsingborg. In the premises, cannabis plants equivalent to one ton of cannabis were found.

Now, twelve people are being prosecuted for extremely serious narcotics offenses, serious narcotics offenses and aiding and abetting extremely serious narcotics offenses.

According to SVT, the defendants are between 23 and 59 years old.

A 30-year-old man is suspected of having had a leading role by controlling others to buy in cultivation tools, import plants, harvest the plants, control the quality and transport the cannabis.
