When it was time for the World Cup opening ceremony at the Azteca Stadium in Mexico City, many viewers expected to see a grand party. But when Shakira performed the World Cup song with Burna Boy, it was all studio chatter on the screen instead.
TV4's sports director Johan Cederqvist comments on the incident for Aftonbladet:
There's a lot going on in our broadcast, a lot of content that was going to go in there, and it was a bit unclear to us which artists would perform when, he says.

That it was missed was unintentional, because we did it on TV4, says program host Steffo Törnquist.
