TV4 will broadcast the women's Champions League for the coming season, and until 2029/2030. The channel has made a deal with the so-called free-TV rights from the tournament. Both regarding the league phase, playoffs and final.
In total, there are 13 matches per season that will be broadcast on TV4 play and TV4's channels, writes TV4 in a press release.
"For us, it's perfect to be able to show the best club football", says Johan Cederqvist, sports director at TV4 in the press release.
Yesterday, it became known that TV4 from the turn of the year will leave the broadcast network and thus is no longer free for those who watch via antenna.
The Champions League starts in October.
