TV4 announced last summer that it would stop broadcasting on the terrestrial network at the turn of the year. Today, the channel's broadcasts will disappear from the terrestrial network, according to Aftonbladet.
This means that TV4 will no longer be available to those watching via a television antenna.
According to TV4, only four percent of viewers are affected. According to the Swedish Media Authority, which refers to a survey by SVT and Teracom from 2023, one in ten Swedes lives in households that only have access to television via the terrestrial network.
"They will either have to find another way to receive the channel or, as more and more people are doing, watch TV4 on TV4 Play," TV4's CEO Mathias Berg has previously told TV4.
