SVT already has the rights to Sweden's qualifying matches for the World Championship, but will thus share the actual championship with TV4.
"We are very happy to once again be able to secure a major football championship where we believe in good Swedish medal chances", says Johan Cederqvist, sports director at TV4, in a press release.
Sweden has taken a medal in four of the last six championships, in the last one it was a bronze.
The 2027 championship is the first to be held on South American soil.
