They have been very vulnerable and I deeply regret that, Channel 4's CEO Priya Dogra says, according to the BBC.
Dogra has previously declined to comment on the allegations from the former participants, and although Channel 4 has initiated a review of how participants can be better protected in the future, she says it is up to the police to investigate whether anything criminal has occurred.
