MFF – which in 2020 restarted its women's team in division 4 – began its debut season in the women's top league by defeating favourites Häcken in the premiere.
In the second round, it was indeed a loss against IFK Norrköping, but the Scanians bounced back with a win against Kristianstad and on Easter Eve came the season's third win via 4–1 away against AIK.
Already in the ninth minute, Sara Kanutte scored 1–0 – the Norwegian's third league goal this season. Ten minutes later, Tuva Skoog scored her first women's top league goal for MFF.
Although Daniella Famili reduced the score after half an hour, just two minutes into the second half, Skoog headed in her second goal of the day. American Isabella D'Aquilla sealed the 4–1 win in the 56th minute with her third goal of the season.
With nine points, MFF is in the top of the women's top league table. AIK remains on three points after four matches.
