"It is with great sadness that we can note that one of our military aircraft, a C-130, en route from Azerbaijan to our country, has crashed near the border between Georgia and Azerbaijan," said Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, according to the Anatolia news agency.
A search and rescue operation has been launched and is being coordinated with affected countries.
