The ship was reportedly en route from Russia to Georgia when, according to Russian statements, it was attacked by a drone, Bloomberg reports.
No one was reportedly injured.
"'Midvolga 2' reported that they were attacked 80 nautical miles off our coast," Turkey's Maritime Directorate wrote on X, adding that the ship had 13 crew members and was loaded with sunflower oil.
The incident comes just days after explosions rocked two other ships off Turkey. A Ukrainian security source said Kiev was behind Friday's attack, which was said to have targeted ships belonging to the sanctioned Russian shadow fleet that transports Russian oil.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has criticized the attacks, which he says threaten shipping in the Black Sea.
