Turkey has rejected Israeli accusations that it posed a threat by preparing to send forces to a military base in Syria, after Israel was accused of attacking a military base in northwestern Syria on Tuesday.
According to Turkey, the aim of Israel's accusations was to "legitimize Israel's illegal airstrikes."
According to Israel, Syria was on the verge of violating an agreement by allowing Turkey to use a military base in the country.
