The work of investigating the possibilities for continued operation of Northvolt's battery factory in Skellefteå is in an intense phase, according to the trustee Mikael Kubu.
"Maintaining certain operations is likely crucial for being able to sell the business entirely or partially. We have come very far in the negotiations to ensure continued operation within the framework of the bankruptcy", he writes in a comment.
However, continued operation requires financial commitments "from various affected parties", Kubu writes further and emphasizes that it involves a smaller operation than before.
Information about the continued operation will be presented during the coming week, and Kubu assesses that the conditions for selling the business are good.
