Qatar donated the plane, a Boeing 747 worth several billion kronor, to Trump last year, and it will be used as the presidential plane, in accordance with the Gulf state's wishes.
The plane is currently being repainted in the colors of the American flag - red, white and blue.
After the United States received the controversial gift, the Department of Defense stated that it “will work to ensure that adequate security measures and features are in place to transport the president.”
