Today, USA's President Donald Trump is gathering his closest men to discuss Ukraine, reports The New York Times.

Among others, Foreign Minister Marco Rubio and Defense Minister Pete Hegseth will be present, according to the newspaper's source within the Trump administration. The men are expected to consider, and possibly decide on, a broad spectrum of alternatives for the USA's continued Ukraine policy.

One of the alternatives is to stop all American military aid to Ukraine, writes The New York Times, including ongoing weapon deliveries that were approved and paid for already during Joe Biden's presidency.

After Friday's disastrous meeting between Trump and Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky, which ended with the Ukrainian delegation being thrown out of the White House, concern has grown that the USA may cut off all support to Kyiv. According to analysts, it would be a nightmare scenario for Ukraine and its allies in Europe.
