It happened in a phone call between Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday.
I said, “Bibi, you better be careful, or you’ll be alone very soon,” Trump said in an interview with Axios in which he used Netanyahu’s nickname.
An Israeli source said the leaders did not fully agree, but that Netanyahu agreed to back down. After the conversation, Netanyahu asked his military leadership to cancel all planned attacks.
According to Trump, his administration also spoke with Iran.
"They called us and said they were stopping the attacks and asked us to tell Israel not to carry out any more attacks," the president told Axios.
