Before the race, Donald Trump is expected to drive a lap of the track in an armoured car and then wave the green flag at the start and finish line in front of the Capitol in Washington.
The race is called the Freedom 250 Grand Prix and is being organised as part of the celebration of the 250th anniversary of the United States.
The race starts at 7:10 p.m.
