In a lengthy post on Truth Social, Trump writes that it is time for the committee to do “the right thing” and make way for Roger Clemens. The post is made ahead of the upcoming committee meeting where a new member of the Baseball Hall of Fame will be elected.
Roger Clemens, 63, won 354 games as a pitcher in Major League Baseball. In 2007, his career was rocked by allegations of doping, which he has denied.
Trump writes in the post that the allegations against Clemens are based on "rumors and insinuations" and calls him "one of the greatest" in baseball.
