USA's president Donald Trump had to change helicopter on his way home from his visit to the United Kingdom due to a technical fault, the White House announces.

The helicopter, which was to take Trump and his wife Melania Trump to Stansted Airport after the press conference with Keir Starmer at the Prime Minister's official country residence Chequers, was forced to land on an airfield.

According to the White House, the unplanned stop was due to a "minor hydraulic fault". No one was injured and the President was escorted to Stansted in another helicopter, where he boarded Air Force One back to Washington.
