Israel should give the Palestinian Gaza Strip to the USA when the war between Hamas and Israel is over, writes US President Donald Trump on his platform Truth Social. This despite Gaza not belonging to Israel.
Furthermore, Trump writes that the Palestinians will already have settled in "much safer and more beautiful communities, with new and modern homes, in the region".
"They will actually have a chance to be happy, safe, and free", writes Trump.
He also says that no American soldiers would be needed on site for the implementation.
Trump has proposed that the Palestinian population in Gaza be relocated to Jordan and Egypt and that the USA take control of the area. The proposal has received strong international criticism and countries in the region have rejected the proposal.
